HI i have a 93 4 runner and it will not run right to save my life, if u give it gas the rpm drops to 0 and if if dont die it shoots up to 6000 or 7000 rpm. it will also die with no warning what so ever. because the rpm keeps droping to 0 and dieing out of no were it has caused a lot of almost wecks, when it dies i have lost brakes and steiring its like moving a rock, i have had the throddle senser replaced and had no secces with my problem plz if some one could help me.....i need to get to work ...on time every day lol

was the tps adjusted before installation? does it start up fine? maybe a fuel pump problem? clogged fuel filter? check for vacuum leaks, clean throttle body...that's all I can think of now..

That's an awful lot of problems and an awful little amount of grammar to be able to diagnose the problems. That description could be any number of different problems. Have you tried taking it to a shop?

I was thinking the same thing.

Throttle position sensor has already been suggested. I've had problems with a Mass Air Flow Sensor that could give problems like this. But heck, it could be the ECU. Time to break out the digital multimeter, carb & choke cleaner, and check for a fuel supply problem.

My 92 acted similarly. It turned out it just need new plugs. The old ones were shot, and causing RF noise throughout the electrical system. It made the ECU lose it's mind and the engine would quit, run horribly, or not start.
