Ok so its been a few weeks since I put my toytec ultimate kit on. Got some 285/70 destinations on and was rubbing on the control arm pretty bad. Than yesterday I put the spidertrax spacers on and now im rubbing hardcore on the front bumper trim.

Anyone got any suggetions for trimming or modifying the fender liner? Thanks.

This has been talked about before, but basically you notch the holes in that plastic piece that rubs the tires where it attaches to the front bumper on the bottom then slide that piece forward and reattach the screws. Once you get under there it will make more sense.

If your rubbing the actual trim piece that goes around the fender opening, you'll have to chop it most likely.

I too would like to see how you solved the rubbing issue on a non-TE or maybe someone can chime in with a good way of relocating the liner.

I looked at Harpers thread, but noticed the TE fender liners are much different than our SR5/LE liners and I don't see the simple relocatable screw that will fix it. Maybe I need to remove the entire air damn first?
