hey, i recently purchased a 94 4runner, 3.0 manual. Went to start her up last night and the motor would not crank over, i had been having battery trouble recently but just installed a new battery, so i thought it was odd it would be dead already, so i push started the vehicle, next morning it started fine, this afternoon it would not start again, i turn the key over to start position and it makes one single click then nothing, but when vehicle is running and i test to see if starter will engage, it engages right aways. This seems odd to me, any insight would be much appreciated!

Start here: Toyota/Chrysler/Mitsubishi - Nippon Denso Starter Solenoid Repair - it sounds like bad solenoid contacts, but it could be a lot of things.
You might wanna ask a mod to move this to the 1st/2nd gen forum, it'll get more attention there.
