HELP -- tell me what happened to my 2000 4Runner

Hello,

Yesterday I noticed that part of the front passenger side bumper came up missing (from thieves I'm guessing -- I live in St. Louis).

Can someone tell me what part(s) I'm missing?

Don't those pieces come off to make room for a chain or strap to get to the tow hook/eyelet thingy so the bumper doesn't get messed up?

it's a removable piece as kball stated-most likely just worked its way loose and fell off- but hey if you have zero deductible on the insurance go with the stolen story.

Yes, it is a removable piece so that you can access tow hook.

Relatively being the key word, since Toyota charges 60 cents for a wiper blade screw.

I thought this piece looked really weird (asymmetrical) when I was cleaning my front end, but then when I was reading the manual it explained it.

Looks like it is $20 at toyotapartsales.com. They seem to be the cheapest OEM source I have found. If anyone has a cheaper OEM supplier, post it.
