I can feel your pain...
For anything I buy from Ebay or whereever in US I have to pay 6.8% tax instantly, charged on the credit card used. Then, when the item arrives in Brazil I have to pay 60% importation tax (Federal Tax) over the total cost of the item, that includes item+shipping+insurance. Then, on top of that item+shipping+insurance+60% of everything I have to pay 18% goods/services tax (state tax).
Honestly, at the end, it costs about double of the price of item+shipping.
That's truly 3rd world.

Man I searched high and low for that damn thing for over an hour...someone must have thrown it out. I couldn't find it to save my life
