Help w/running wires from the outside rear bumper into the back of the truck . .

I loved the idea of putting real lights into the rear reflectors, as posted recently. I am a firefighter, however, so I was thinking of putting strobe lights into those sockets, requiring me to run wires from outside the rear of the truck to inside the cargo area, where I have my emergency light system set up. Anyone have any photos or suggestions on how I can run wires from the back of the truck into the cargo area?

If you look underneath the Runner behind the rear bumper (on either side) you will find a rubber grommet that when removed will lead to the inside of your cargo area, underneath the carpet. This is where I ran the wiring for my reverse sensors. You don't need to remove the grommets completely, just cut a hole small enough to run the wires.:

Here is a trick we used when I installed 2-way radios years ago.
Take a small phillips screwdriver and poke a hole in the center
of the grommet, run the wire through the hole you have made,
then the rubber will be tight against the wire and make it waterproof.
