Help Wanted/ Parts / Bay area.

Hey guys, I dont have internet at the home stead right now so i can't search a ton...so i was hoping for some help from the Local Bay area 3rd gen owners. I recently purchased a wrecked 2002 3rd gen. It hit a Telephone pole.

I would like to bring it back to stock, but also am open to after market bumpers, front and rear.

As far as parts i need what you see in the front..

Like i said its not that i dont want to search i just dont have internet at the moment.. So any help or leads would be appreciated.

Bring it back to stock with new oem part, aftermarket, or used parts? Are you going to fix all of it or have someone do it? How is the engine?

I'm going to have a perfect set of 96 front head lights this weekend if you could make use of them, free if you can use them!

How bad is the frame? To take on a project like this, I'm assuming your a fabricator and can cut and weld up the frame and body parts necessary to bring this back together. If you aren't a fabricator, this is going to get very expensive for you. This looks like the type of vehicle people just part out rather than try to fix.

new core support, Radiator, ac condenser, fan, fan clutch, bumper, brackets, grille, lights, turn signals, hood, fenders, overflow bottle, just seems like a few of the things youre going to need. Its going to cost a chunk of change to get it put back together right.

id start off by searching and looking at prices on Rockauto.com and go from there.

If it has a working sun roof Id totally be interested in that if we could figure out a way to meet half way between you and I.

I mean it’s feasible if you wanna cut an entire front clip off of another 4Runner and weld it onto yours. You’d need core support, both upper frame rails, fenders, hood, and bumper mounts. But you better hope that the frame isn’t tweaked in any way or your gonna have a hell of a time replacing all that. Part this sucker out and find a different one. I don’t think your gonna find a shop that would want to do this work either. It’s too old of a vehicle, would cost way too much to do it, and last but certainly not the least there are a lot of these that are not wrecked so buy one of those.

Wow, that's going to be some project.

If you're doing it for fun and experience I'd suggest going to a local pick and pull and get a frame.

If you're doing it to save $$$, I'd suggest getting another truck and part this one.

Thanks for all the input guys.. I got this truck for practically free, I own and run a fabrication shop, and im in no rush. The frame is good except for the horns.. the front core support is cheap. and the motor is in great shape. Im not looking to be perfect, i will most likely turn it into a crawler at some point in the near future. I went and saw a 96 yesterday the guy said i can cut the front of the truck off.. i picked up a fender.. only need one for 30$ last week. if i can find after market bumpers i will do that..
Just seeing whats out there. I know everyone takes off parts or has stuff lying around so just wanted to see what was out there.

in that case, id hack the front off and tube chassis the thing if you can do all that work your self and buy a grille, hood and fenders from rock auto or try to find someone's take offs or even go fiberglass fenders

Yeah for right now i want to get it drive able, so i can park my tundra, then i will start doing things to it..Fiberglass fenders are def on the todo list.. I always build stuff super cheap, and buy the proper parts where i need them. Im not cheap, i just look for good deals or what not...
