HELP! Why so cheap?!?!

Why are BFG M/T so cheap on ebay in comparison to the other tires, similar in size? I really like them but it bothers me.

I will not take credit for the answer, because Thai posted it in another thread. They are most likely Wrangler Rubicon take-offs. That tire was specifically designed for the WR. Looking at other BFG TA KM tires you will notice this particular size has a different tread design than other TA KM's. Jeep wanted an MT with the ability to provide respectable on-road driveability. If you search 255/75/17 you will see pics of them installed on a 4Runner and the owners feedback. If you want an inexpensive 32" MT tire this one is a good choice.

I think its because they came out with their new design the KM2 and are getting rid of the older design (left over stock)...

When i testdrove the Wrangler Rubicon with the above tires, i thought that they were pretty quiet. I would get it...it's a steal IMHO!
