Help wire behind stereo beside antenna??

I am replacing single din head unit with double din. When I pulled aftermarket stereo out I noticed this black wire hanging down beside antenna? I assume it is a ground wire? Anyone know what it is and where it’s supposed to connect??

Thanks

That cable is for your diversity antenna which is in the rear window. Not sure why they decided to cut it.

I replaced a single din with a double din recently and just used the wiring Crutchfield provided. I also pulled the bent power antenna and installed a cheapo fixed unit. Everything works as it should.
I did see the diversity antenna jack under my dash but could see it hadn't been used in a long time, probably pulled when the PO went to an aftermarket stereo.

Any idea where to connect it back??

Thanks for reply!!
It's supposed to have a smaller than standard size antenna jack on it. It only plugs into the Toyota radio, but you can buy a two into one adapter on Amazon. The end is cut off your's and you'd have to splice a new end on or replace the whole cable so I'd just leave it. I hooked mine up with the adapter and don't see a huge difference.

Thanks to everyone who replied. I just put heat shrink over the end and left it. Radio seems to work fine without it.
