help with buying 95 4runner!

hey you all i have some questions on buying my second t4r. im just gonna thorw it all out here not into typing much. its a 95 with 97xxx miles. auto tranny, tires seem to be about half tread, very little rust on the rear bumper, he says it gets 18mgp which i dont beleive. also has toyota securtity system which i didnt know came strock in these. it looks really clean inside and out. he was asking $5k but i talked him down to $4k. what do you all think? deal or no deal? thanks in advance!

4k for that low of miles and that clean seems like a really good buy to me.

To bad its not a manual, the automatic is a bit of a dog. But looks like a reasonable deal for 4k to me too. BTW, I get about 18mpg with my 94 manual, so that doesnt sound outlandish. Good luck!

Being a fellow 95 4r owner, i would be all over that like white on rice with a paper plate in a snow storm especially with the UK mats in it! i payed $3 for a 95 with 188k on it. so with that low of miles on it, it's worth it. But the security system is not stock, if it is then mine was taken out. but as far as i know there were no security systems on 2nd gens. but BEST OF LUCK TO YA!!

I think it's a smoking deal, for the mile's and the truck. But you might want to think about swapping out that automatic for a 5 speed, the automatic's suck and are sluggish.
