I am planning to get a new front skid from RCI. The thing I am debating si whether to only get the front skid or get the skid package. I do not do heavy off-roading only mild trails. I live in AZ, I go out to Butcher Jones, Broken Arrow, etc but do not push it too hard. I also have sliders so would the full skids be worth it or should I stick with just the front?

AZ here too. I offroad quite a bit in the bradshaws. RCI steel front skid here. I think its all you really need unless you're going to get really technical. The front is a good guinea pig to judge how things are going to go and whether you should continue. Front is also generally the lowest clearance point on the vehicle. I recommend steel over aluminum. The weight difference is marginal (especially if you're going just front skid), and the strength and skid characteristics of steel over aluminum is far superior.
I figure my stock trail skids for the rest of the vehicle suffice enough for me since I offroad slow and don't go nuts.

Get whichever skid covers the engine oil pan. That’s the lowest/most vulnerable part.

The front skid is actually pretty damn effective and would probably be the last I would replace if doing them one at a time. I think the SR5 and maybe Limiteds only have partial fuel skids, that's where I would start on those models. Next would be protecting the transfer case (breakover angle point) and the transmission pan.
