Help with clock fix

I followed the directions in the clock fix thread recently and got my clock running. Unfortunately last week it crapped out again. I desoldered everything and resoldered it better than before, or so I thought, I plugged it in and still nothing. I tried redoing it one more time and still no luck. does anybody see anything wrong with my soldering?

It's hard to see if anything is wrong. You did use a ton of solder. Are any of those big blobs hitting any of the other gold tracks ? Are all the tracks clean...no black burn marks, etc? In the third pic, the bottom track, in the left corner - is that excess solder you got on there? The track right above that looks like it has two black spots (in the fourth pic)...is that junk or is the track fried? Get rid of that little solder strip between the two middle pins right next to the solder blobs.

Definitely make those solder blobs smaller. Can't remember what it's called but you buy this braided wire, set it on the solder you want to remove, and put the iron on the braid to heat it up....soaks the solder up.

Thanks for the feedback. I busted out the Sodapult and desoldered/resoldered everything but easier on the solder. The clock is back up and running, hopefully for good. :bigok:
