Has anyone run into dealerships having a problem defining the comprehensive 3 month 3000 mile warranty on a certified vehicle.
I just brought my truck in and the grey area seems to be:
A repair thats "AN ADJUSTMENT" is not covered.
Where a repair thats a "DEFECTIVE PART or BROKEN PART etc. is covered.
So I guess if your window rattles because it's loose, then it's not covered because they are not really replacing a part.
Can anyone tell me if thats correct.
Part of the definition from Toyota about the comprehensive is defect in materials or workmanship:
"Comprehensive Warranty (from date of purchase). This warranty covers any repair or replacement of components which fail under normal use due to a defect in materials or workmanship. (Program not available in Hawaii.)
Isn't a loose window/track a defect or no.
Thanks
Ant
