I have a 2005 Sport Edition with the rear audio option. I'm having a hard time finding what LEDs go into the 2nd row dome lights. anyone that has done this could help it would be a huge help. and also possibly where you got your LEDs from.

Might PM emelianenkov Not sure tho but I'm guessing he would be able to shed some light on your situation. Either that or T4R gauge swaps would know.

The limiteds came with the rear audio feature as well. Get the same bulbs the guys with limiteds got. It might be the same bulb. Worst case, take the cover off and measure the length of the bulb that is in there. Its a festoon bulb I believe and you can get them from LED Lights, Bulbs & Accessories - SUPER BRIGHT LEDS

Hope that helps!

It's a DE3175 festoon bulb.
Got mine here at superbrightleds.com. Fast shipping and great customer service.
Here is a link where you can find every bulb on your 4Runner.

These are what I have in there now (yes one on each side due to the rsa(rear seat audio) controller.

I also have one in the cargo area light but just isn't super super bright like I'd like it to be so I ordered this... Also if I like it I will get 2 more for the dome lights in the middle.

I got the warm white because I feel it accents the amber dash very well. Whereas all these people put blue or blue white just make it look not clean.
Trust me the one that has 4 LEDs is pretty darn bright. And I have some that have 6 smd LEDs on it for the map lights and 2 more LEDs makes a heck of a difference. I'm Almost scared to see just how bright the one with 30 high power smd LEDs will be. It should light up the whole entire cabin lol! These suckers are BRIGHT.

I also ordered some LEDs from another website a while back and had a problem with getting them to fade with the dome lights. All of these LEDs dim and fade like normal. In case that's a big deal to you just like it is to me. Lol

Good luck. Ill go take some pics of my LEDs if u want tomorrow night after I install the big boy in the back. Should be in mail tomorrow.

Just let me know.

dual 48 led panels all day.

i get tons of compliments on them...and my fav was "holy shit, its like walmart bright in here"

To each his own I guess. I'm just the opposite: I think the 5000K white looks very good and updated with the light gray/dark gray cloth interior in mine. It makes all the other amber lights look old & dated.

Are you sure those 48 SMD panels will fit where the OP is talking about?

I have the same RAS dome light and got one of the kits that.. maybe pfran?... was selling here and on toyota120.com in a group buy a couple of years ago.

I believe they 1" or 1.5"x 3" panels. I'll try to measure later.

They're plenty bright but they're closer to 6000K I'd say.

This is the current setup I have. The map lights are perfect!!!! Bright but not so bright that when your driving down the road and need to turn one on you can no longer see anything. And the dome lights are okay. They are bright too but not quite super bright like I want.
And I asked myself this too what about when I need to turn that light on and I'm
Driving... Good point but I never plan on turning that light on while driving. So I'm gettin the bigger 30 led board. But still these are 99.8899999 percent brighter than the factory bulbs.
I also modded my maplights so that now when you open the doors or unlock the car the maplights come on... Basically the exact same function of the dome light except they don't come on when you turn the dome light to the on position and the still work when dome light is on off position. Essentially help light the front seats.

I followed JA's writeup as well. IMHO, the map lights are way too bright. They're great when you're stopped, but when you're rolling at night (like when the passenger needs to turn it on) it's blinding. I don't like it at all.

Here's what I have x3 - 2 for the middle and one for the back. Even though the two fronts are pointing to the side - you can't tell through the lens and they provide plenty of light. I do wish I would have gone more powerful on the rear/cargo however.

Finally, I ordered the two for the middle at two different times. The hue/color of the two look just a touch different. It was annoying to me at first, but now I just don't care. Wait, now that I mention it it does annoy me again ;-)

Everything I bought was from v-leds.
