Help With LED's

I didn't want to add to the already too long LED lighting thread so here goes nothing. I removed the lights from my climate control (digital), ash tray, cigarette lighter, ECT/window, and defrost. I need help identifying what type of bulbs they are.

I know they are the "neo" type, the white ones and the matching bigger black ones are from the climate control. The small green one and the long black one are from the window/ECT and defroster. The white ones are 6/16" in diameter, the big brown ones are 1/4" in diameter and the ECT/Defroster and window are 5/16" in diameter.

The Cigarette lighter I know is a 74, the ash tray is a little smaller than a 74 and had the leads soldered to the two pins for power, I am assuming for this one I will just use a standard LED with a resistor unless anyone knows what it is.

Where can you buy the correct Neo-Wedges though?

Would these be the correct bulbs? I ask because they're obviously shorter than the long black one that goes to the rear window.

Also, clarify something for me juiceboxer- is the only pictured bulb with the brown base the one that goes to the ECT/defroster? And is the diameter for that one 5/6"? I'm just a little confused by your list.

That's where I got my neowedges from. Don't worry about the length for the rear window bulb...mine lit up no problem. juiceboxer can answer for sure, but I am pretty certain that brown base bulb is the ECT/defrost. I am sure juice meant 5/16" as 5/6" would be a huge bulb BTW...the neowedges took a little finessing to get in.

Bootown is correct, The brown base is ECT/Defrost and it is 5/16" NOT 5/6". (i'll edit the first post so I don't confuse anyone else

considering that you and I have the exact same 4runners and same set up, on mine there's only 1 bulb for both the defrost and ect buttons. Then the rear window button had its own.

How did you get the Cigarette lighter bulb out? Mine had a big plastic holder that didn't seem to come apart.

This another guy that I like to buy from, but doesn't have all the bulbs (24's). Better quality tho.

if you bend the two metal pins holding it in, you can remove the bulb.

Your right, I got the ash tray and cigarette lighter mixed up. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get more LED's in the shifter so the hot spots are not so bad? I guess i could use an incandescent with a blue tint.

Yeah I figured that out when I took the dash panel off to find out what kinda bulbs they were. What about the A/C switch though?

Im gonna take a guess that its the same. Im not sure though so dont quote me. Apparently my paypal account has decided to use my screen name as the shipping address name too so all my packages have been returned to the sender since theres no one at my residence with the last name starr, so where as I should have got my leds 5 days ago, now I have to wait another week Stupid post office :bash: once I get them though, Ill be able to tell you everything about the install and what bulbs are needed. I just got a big fat bonus check and tax return so I've been going mod crazy lately and still looking for an SC400.
