I purchased a used '03 4runner with factory navigation. When I press the dest. button and go to that menu I have trouble using some of the options on those 3 pages. For example, when I press the address, poi, or intersection buttons nothing happens. I can hear the dvd spinning around in the player but the screen never changes and doesn't allow me to enter in an address. I took the dvd out of the player and inspected it to find a ring about a 1/16" wide around the back side of the disk that looks like it was rubbing on something.
My guess as to why my nav. doesn't work is because it can't read the dvd. Am I on track here? Has anyone else had or heard of a similar problem?
