Help with PMs

How do I enable my PM sent folder? I have a dispute with a forum member and wanted to review my messages sent to him.

Click on User CP on the upper left.

Once you're in the User Control Panel, in the left column under Private Message, click on the down arrow and you'll get a drop down. In the drop down click on Sent Items. It'll take you to your PM sent folder.

Mine shows 0 sent PMs. In other words, its not recording my sent PMs...I only have a record of PMs that I have recieved, which were replies to my PMs.

Agh! This does me no good now. I specifically registered on this forum to buy parts from a user that was parting out a 4Runner. Now, in the middle of a dispute for items that I did not get, I have no record of what I had ordered.

Here is my recommendation: Mods please enable a copy of sent PMs to go to the sent PMs folder as a default for users. Thanks.

Mods don't have control over that.

This is the only forum that I know of where the default is NOT to get copied on sent PMs.

This was the same reply I made from another thread with the similar question

When you reply to someone using a PM, you have to checkmark the box that says( see second paragraph in bold letterings), under Additional Options just below where you type in, but you must do this before you submit your message.

Check your outbox folder and you'll see a copy of it.
