Hola! Hoping everyone's school break with the kids were awesome. Dad dad (mom mom!), lets go on the 4runner during our break....hmmm

Anyways, I have this rack and I want to mount a rotopax on it.. Thinking of just a small one like 3.5 gals should do. I just need a "just in case" type thing. Not sure what pieces to get for this type of rack. Its not a "chicken wire" type rack, its just bars across. If someone knows, and can provide a linky, greatly appreciated. I think I need something underneath the rack?

This is the rack I have:

ericantonio the easiest (not necessarily cheapest) way to do it is to get a single or double universal mounting plate, then attach the Rotopax mounts to that. There are already holes in the plates to attach the mounts in different configurations. The mounting plate can attach to your rack a number of ways such as U-bolts from underneath. You can also search for "Rotopax mounting options" on the forum and see some alternatives. Here's a link to the Rotopax hardware page:Mounting Hardware
