Help with usb port install

I have a 97 limited 4runner. I installed a new pioneer double din with the usb in the back. I am looking for a usb port that I can fit into the center console by the e-brake in the blank switch button? I bought a usb port from amazon but it is far to large to fit in blank switch square. Any options out there?

I used the stock cable that came with my pioneer unit and cut and glued it to one of the blanks. Didn't come out as pretty as it could have considering I didn't really have any experience but it's held up for years now.

I installed the Blue Sea plug, but I put it place of one of the aux. power outlets that had lost its spring tension and would not secure a plug. You might be able to adapt it to that spot. I don't have any switch blanks there so I don't know how large yours are.

Or just get a 1 13/16ths hole saw and put it wherever you want.

I ran a USB extension cable (along with a 3.5mm aux/audio extension cable) from the back of my deck through the console, around the shifter and up from the bottom into the center arm rest. I have a USB stick on the end of the USB cable for MP3s.

HI I use this with my Pioneer H/U .. Just remove one power socket on bottom of center bezel and install it there

yea this is what im in the process of doing, i got the pioneer avh4200nex head unit....really like...im going to run this:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00L2SF64E/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

and replace the old plug and then put this:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00VAJ76SE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

in the 12v (cigarette lighter thing) that.

I've already got everything hooked up but keep coming back and seeing changes i can make to make everything look more clean. I originally had all my cables ran through into my center console but it was really a PITA to hook up my apple carplay system and i want it to be seamless.

That first one is nice, since I send my audio from my tablet to my amp. And the second one is just what I need for my wife's. How are you liking the 4200NEX overall. I was going to buy the AppRadio4 for my wife's, but the reviews aren't so good. I'd love to hear about navigation apps and ipod use on the 4200.

The more i play with it the more i like it. I've found that using the USB extenders really slowed down the Apple Carplay feature (and probably the android auto, haven't tested because i don't have anything android) so i bought a 10ft lightning cable and ran it under the steering wheel panel and up right to the section of the trim where the ac vent on the far left of the drivers side is and got a strong magnetic vent mount. There was always just too much going on in the middle and i couldn't get used to it. I meant to take pictures last night but i didn't feel like going to get my ipad to take some pictures of my iphone.
