Help with wire color for VSS at cluster

I'm currently attempting to install a Speedohealer that I had just purchased and was looking if someone could confirm the wire color for the vehicle speed sensor that I need to tap into. From all the research I have done in the FSM I have concluded that the green-orange wire is the VSS wire. Is this correct?

Update, got the speedohealer installed and wired to the green orange wire, however after driving around a code emerged. It's P0500 which is the VSS. I'm thinking I have the speedometer out wire instead of the wire going into the speedo. Anyone can provide some insight.
 
I searched more in the 3rd Gen forum and found a link to a different forum that pointed me to the gray with blue stripe wire which is also connected to the VSC. Got it all wired up and will go for a test drive to see if this is it.

Grey with blue stripe.

It's the wire I use for the speedo for my Tacoma speed sensor, running into my SGI-5, and into the dash for my speedometer.

Yes, confirmed! I took it out on a ice run and it works great! So this is how it is supposed to go.

First you follow the instructions in this thread,

Speedometer correction - Toyota 120 Platforms Forum

However the wiring is different from an '04 to a '99. You need to splice the white wire from the Speedohealer to the gray with blue stripe wire that is in the harness of the blue connector in the back of the combometer (gauge cluster). The green wire from the Speedohealer is spliced to the other side of gray with blue stripe wire going to the blue connector.

With that said my speedometer is now reading correctly. Before it read approximately 3-4 mph lower than what it actually was. My ScanGauge II was giving me inaccurate gas mileage, including my odometer and trip meter which I was using to track my fuel gauge just in case it was off. Now it is all back to how it should be but now with 16" rims and a bigger tire.

Do you have ABS/VSC or not? I'm wondering if the wire is the same for us plane janers!

this is the input wire at the ecu to get my vss to work with my speedo ??

used to be a abs truck body swapped with a non abs body both trucks were 1997 4runner 5 speed .. so im thinking the abs ecu is still a abs ecu
