ok, was scouting locations to install my new dvd player. I decided to remove the glovebox and the inner glovebox. This now exposes the AC blower and filter. I notice the there was an opening above the blower and filter with what appeared to be a sliding panel behind it. It seemed odd that the ac would pull air from this location. I thought perhaps I had inadvertantly opened this panel the last time I replaced the ac filter. I gently, and I do mean gently pulled on the panel to see if it would move. Sure enough it "clicked" and slid down to close the vent. I then realized this is probably part of the air recirculation. Sure enough, I fire up the motor and hit the recirculation button which closed the panel. when I hit the button again, the panel starts to go up but then falls back down. I've obviously pulled the panel off track. I cant see any easy way to pull the ventilation apart. Anyone have any ideas?
