It looks like the door was painted before and whoever did the work masked off the emblem instead of taking it off! If thats the case there is nothing you can do except get the door repainted or put the emblem back on! Sorry, i`m just going by the pic and over 10 years of painting cars! I could be wrong though!
how much to get the door re sprayed, since u paint em u might know?? or could i do it myself with some stuff from wal mart??

I honestly couldn't give you and estimate on cost becuase labor rates vary quite a bit from region to region! My guess would be $500-$800. The main thing is if you take it to get resprayed you want them to remove all of the trim , mirror, belt moulding, door handle, cladding and fender flare, head light and front bumper! You would want them to blend the color I to the fender and reclearcoat the entire door and fender! I've sprayed 587 many many times and if the fender isn't blended I promise the color won't match! I wouldn't try and do it yourself unless you have painted before, if you use walmart paint it will look like it's paint with walmart paint! Not like the factory! Jus giving you my honest .02! Dammnnn 2 bad u r not here in Indy...there is a latin/hispanic bodyshop near my workplace that is painting your car for $600 he has that shop there for more than 6 years so Iam guessing he works good cuz he is still there. I bet he would have done it for no more than $250 or problaby less.

I'm not trying to start any trouble! I've never seen any work from the shop your talking about, they very well could do good work! In my experience cheap work looks like cheap work! Maco is a well know popular chain bodyshop that will paint your car complete for 199$, and they are absolutely the WORST place to take your car! Jus saying! Again not starting anything, that's just my opinion!

Dreadog....My comment had nothing to do with yours...It just that while reading the thread it came to my mind the add for that guys shop. It was just a simple comment.
If I was you 4Runner8.... I just put back the emblems.

well its not very bad those pics are just very close up. unless your looking at the truck straight onto the door within 30 feet u will notice it. any other angle and u cant tell.
and my friend got his jeep re painted from maaco for 199 and it looks good to me. if i ever repaint the whole thing ill do forrest green though.
