last night while i was to ride my t4r to buy some groceries, i noticed that the light on my defogger for the rear windows was not working when i was pushing it on. i tried at several occassions, but still the light is not coming on. i dunno if some of you guys have had the same problems or similar , but can you help me with this please? i still have to check on the fuse and the "defogger lines" if it may have been scratched or cut at one point. tnx in advance. may u all have a happy and prosperous new year!

what do u mean center console? like the one where the shiftgear is? or the one where the radio is? thanks .

Its all one piece from where the estimated range LCD all the way down to the defogger/recirculation buttons. As far as I know there is only one plug.

Do you have your rear window cracked/open?

Up/down and the defroster will not work when the window is not all the way up.

Where the gear shift is the dac button and the power port need to be plugged in for the defrost button to work

ok heres your answer, roll the rear window up and down a few times and you should be back in business, if the body control module goes out of sync and loses the window position the rear defroster (and the light) will not work. This happens when you disconnect the battery. The same thing can happen to the auto sun roof. try it and let me know.

whew!!! thanks guys....the rear window was not closed all the way up. sooo sensitive the toyotas are ...hehehe!!! thanks again !!!
