So I bought my 94 4runner sr5 3L V6 about 4 months ago. It was running like a champ and everything was fine. I treat it well, I haven't taken it wheeling yet or anything. But for the past two weeks, it's all gone downhill. For some reason the truck is very very sluggish, almost sounds like it has an exhaust leak although I doubt that could be my problem. When idling the whole truck shakes, also at speeds of 90k or over it also shakes quite bad. I took it to Toyota and paid for two hours of diagnosis. They did a compression test, checked the cap and rotor, etc and come back saying I need new plugs. OK so I change the plugs and low and behold... No difference at all. The truck runs just as bad as it did before.
Just curious if anyone else has had this problem or has any suggestions?
