I wanted a slightly larger tire (than stock) that did many things well, especially: be affordable, be readily available and be a solid compromise as a daily driver in a ski town that could explore the desert and the mountains. I couldn't find the Terra Trac in SLC, so it would need to be shipped: that was out. The KO2s were a little more $ per tire, but still a consideration. Ended up with 255/75 STMaxx load C and am very happy.

Duratracs are overpriced. They aren't horrible, but they're nothing special and nowhere near worth what they cost.

KM2s are probably overkill for me, but I went through a few sets of the A/T KO2s on my old 4Runner. Was always happy with 'em, but wanted to try something different this time around.
