I have a quick question, and I performed a search for the info, and could not find it.

The stiker on my 4Runner Sport, under Standard Equipment, Exterior, says "-Power Heated Outside Mirrors".

How do you turn the heat to the mirrors on/off, that is, how do they work? I previously owned a Dodge QuadCab, and it had a power button to operate the Power Heated Outside Mirrors, so I assumed the 4Runner would have the same simple system.

I have also looked in the operators manual, with no success.

thanx for your time.

In my manual -

"On some models, when you push the back window defogger switch, the heater panels in the outside rear view mirrors will quickly clear the surface."

Our definitions of "quickly", in this context, may vary from theirs.

thanx

I appreciate the help. This was one of those questions that went to the back of my mind once the weather improved, but will be helpfull come next snow fall.

:p

Just took advantage of that feature yesterday while driving through the dampness and fog. You will definitely find this useful when your truck is covered in snow. This feature is one that is overlooked. That is actually one of the reasons I switched to a sport. It was not the main reason, but it was something that persuaded me!
