Hey everyone! BC guy just picked up a '97!

I come from the import modding scene, but ever since I put a lot of work into my SC400 its no longer drivable during the winters (lowered, summer wheels/tires, etc etc), so I decided to get into a 4x4. I've always wanted one knowing they're solid trucks!

High mileage at 370k, but lotsa maintenance work done, and she drives beautifully! Got it at a decent price too, so I'm not complaining.

The mod bug is already itching, although I'm definitely not going to spend as much money on this as I have on my Lexus. Looking to maybe install that auto dimming/temperature/compass mirror I saw a DIY of somewhere, a small 2-3" spacer lift, and thats it.
I am curious about mods that will improve power and/or fuel efficiency. Any BFI mods or something alike that someone can point me to? I know BFI's work great for tuners, but really have no idea in the 4x4 world.

Besides that I'm looking for good condition leather seats (mine are destroyed), and the front bumper trim pieces that I'm missing - if anyone has a line on these (especially local to Vancouver) please lemme know!!

Nice! And I've always loved the Supra lol, that TT 6spd is one mean car.

Not many big plans for the 4Runner, the SC gets all the money/toys. As I mentioned, I may look to install that auto dimming/temperature/compass mirror for convenience sake. Besides that I'd look into a 2-3" spacer lift, but thats all.

I just bought a 3" lift and panhardbar with diff drop for decent price. It will probably be a great mod. It has blown shocks now so i figured to go this route. Now I need to get 33" tires and wheels and it will be awesome.

Your SC is very clean! Glad to see more out there being taken care of

750hp, jeezus that's some serious power. Also must be nice to have that V160!
I'm only at about 350hp but I'm still auto and NA because it's the 1UZ. Planning on throwing in an R154 if I don't sell her over the winter.. Have someone whose interested in buying it for much more than what I got it for, so if he can come up with the money then I'll be finding myself parting and DD'ing the 4runner.
