Hey all,

I've been lurking on this site for about 5 years. Thought I had an account set up but apparently I never registered.

Anyhoo, I am running a 2000 4Runner auto(sad) with the OME kit and 275/70 Coopers. This is my second 4runner and am about to eclipse the 200k mile mark just like I did with my first one. I owe a lot of that to the guys on here that post all of the repair advice and technical info. I've done a lot of surfing, hunting, snowboarding and general dog taxiing in my rig with your help. A huge thanks to you all.

I'll post some pics when I get a chance.

Nice, got pics of the truck? I'm in North Jersey too, northwest.

New comer

Recently comindeered my parents '97 Limited 4x4, I personally picked it off the lot my senior year of HIgh School (16 yrs ago, if u didn't feel like doing math). The truck is loaded and in great condition with a mere 152k miles. My 4 year old has become obsessed with the truck and didn't like the fact it just sat in their drive, hence the reason I now have it. My little guy was bite by the redneck bug and is nuts over muddin. I want to begin to transform her in the offroad machine she craves to be. I'm new to the offroad/muddin world, looking for any advice or guidance anyone is looking to share.

Any good trails in the area.

Where in NJ are you?

There is Paragon in Pa. Also there is a spot down near great adventure that my friend took me to. I can't remember exactly where it was but I know it bordered great adventure's land.

I moved from North NJ to PA a few years ago.

Paragon is now shut down, the only place to wheel is either the Pine Barrens in South Jersey or at Rausch Creek in Tremont PA.

I'm in Morris county too, west coast of Morris county. Great wheeling is about 45 minutes from me near the Tapan zee bridge.
I'm running stock right now, so I don't wanna get into anything serious just yet. I'm looking at starting with some new offload tires, body lift and shocks. Any suggestions as to where to go around here. I'm not gonna use her as an everyday drive, weekends and trips with my boys

It's doable stock, I've only been there once and the other guy I went with was completely stock, plus my truck is a daily driver and I'm not interested in beating it up so I take it easy. I've found a couple trails by me that are very small that I run whenever I can but nothing special. Just to get dirt under the tires really and ride around the woods.

You dudes are in south Jersey. Sussex County is the only north Jersey around! :usa2:
