I recently purchased a 2000 4Runner Limited with 73K miles in perfect condition (I was lucky)

I used to be part of ranger-forums.com when I had a Ford Ranger, and am just looking for a place to learn about my new car and meet a few people

I had the exact same truck as yours (same color combo etc). Was a completely awesome truck, so congratulations.

As long as you keep up with the regular maintenance it'll be a dream. The only thing we had to do was the catalytic converter at about 120k. Oh, and change the cabin filter regularly because something about 'em gets stinky.

If you need new tires then I'd go with the Michelin LTX.
If you ever want to sell it let me know (I like my 4th Gen, but I really miss my 2000 - would absolutely still have it if i hadn't crashed the heck out of it).
