So, I got most of my lift installed (I'm doing the UCAs today). I'm very happy with it so far. I need to get some longer sway bar end links (wife isn't a fan of the lean) and some meatier tires. But, the ride is great, flex is much improved, and I love the extra ground clearance.
A few things I learned:
1. Toyota engineers hate repair technicians. Seriously, what were they thinking with those rear upper shock mounts! :uzi:
2. Loosen your UCA bolt to allow your suspension to droop and get the coil over in. Then first one about killed me before I remembered this trick from my Tacoma days.
3. If you're thinking about playing in the mud a few days before doing some suspension work, don't. I'm still picking sand and dirt out of my ears, nose, hair . . .
4. Teach your kids the names of ALL of the tools in your box AND the drawers they go in. They make great tool gophers when you're wedged under the rig, and finding the tools the next time you need them is much less of a treasure hunt when they're in the right drawers, lol.
I know, I know, you only opened this thread for pictures:

Did I trick you? Ha ha ha, that's the truck the first week I bought it. It'll make more sense in just a second.

Same little pile of dirt yesterday after the lift. Now I can sit on the tire if I need some shade, lol.

Toytec Boss Lift with rear Bilsteins and silver springs. I'll be installing LR UCAs today.
