So I put new shocks on my T4R Saturday. Took it out for a test drive and.....

The day I bought it. August 27 2012.
The test drive September 15 2012. Last Saturday.
Whats left of the ford ranger.

The Ass that caused this told the cop, It's totally my fault, I don't have a drivers license and, (of course ) I don't have insurance.

The kid driving the ranger had a broken nose. I'm ok just sore. And we both have insurance.

The accident was caused by a guy in a full sized f150. I'm guessing he saw me comming up the highway and decided to gas it through the stop so he'd be ahead of me. Unfortunately he didn't see the ranger and came out on the road at about 35 or 40 right in front of him.
The kid had NO time to react. Hit the left rear of the truck and crossed the center line into me. I was heading for the ditch trying to miss him.

Now I'm looking for another 4runner. Found a 2000 limited with multi mode and e-locker for less than $7000.00. But it's got 217,00 on it.

I am sooo bumed out. I've been driving my box van to work at 11 mpg.

I can't believe how GOOD the 4Runner looks compared with the Ranger.

Granted, the damage is quite bad, but man, you sure give that guy a hit!

btw, sawdust, I consider that truck that Hepar linked to, to be a STEAL for all the mods, blood, sweat, and tears put into it, and with the lower miles. I'd seriously consider it myself if I was still looking for one.

My take on it was he was trying to show JNJ how safe these things are.

I'd like to show you guys pics of my head on accident, got hit by a drunk driver on my Triumph D675 but there wasn't much left of it. All things considered, I feel lucky to be able to say that as opposed to State Farm having a wrecked bike to sell. I was one lucky S.O.B.

Wow man that was one hell of an accident! Glad to see you safely walked away from it. These things sure can take a beating that's for damn sure.
