Trying to find how to replace the bumper that the previous owner bashed up at some point - is this smashed up part called the bumper reinforcement? If so, are there any separate brackets I need to replace at the same time?

Last question - anyone got one in calgary? lol

Technically I think what you're talking about is called the bumper cover. The bumper reinforcement is the metal part that goes behind the cover.

Just for clarification, I'm referring to the smashed up, kinda rusted black bar - the lowest and most forward bit in the pictures.

that is pretty banged up you may have damaged the end of your frame there.
