Hey guys!
New member, bought a 1997 4-Runner earlier this year (5spd, rear e-locker, ~149,000mi) and I've been loving it so far. Switched from a Lexus IS300, so it's a bit of a change, but given my hobbies (big dogs and outdoorsy stuff) it was an easy choice. Now I've just gotta increase my "handyman" trait. It has like zero skill points. Maybe two.
I didn't get any pictures of it when I bought it, but I did paint the stock wheels black and I think they came out okay. I also put on the wind deflectors. Harrrrd work. So here's the "before" picture, I suppose.
I've been friends with EatonkyleH for a long time, and he was the one helping me decide on the right truck etc.etc. Anyway, he was looking to sell off some stuff to afford newer (bigger) stuff, so I took him up on the whole shebang (tires, roof basket, OME lift) and bought myself some budbuilt skid plates. So, the only progress pictures thus far (no lift just yet, we didn't have time for all that in one day).
and had a little fun painting the skid plate. Why not?
Took it out that night and almost rolled my relatively inexperienced self over. Dumb. Oh well! Let's go adventure!
