HHIRunner's Build Thread

Did you have to trim a lot with that size for the tires? And about how much mpg do you average? I was thinking about going 265/70 BFG A/Ts on the SCS 6s too

I had to trim a lot off the inner fender and I currently get around 12 MPG, but MPG with a 265/70 AT tire will be way better than a 305/65 MT.

Looks awesome. Nice work. What is that on your front bumper a light bar bull bar clip and where did you get it ? Looks good and ive never seen one like that before.

It's a stock option that is super rare, it's essentially a piece of plastic that does nothing.

Whats it called ? Do you have a part number ? I like it because its so different. You want to remove it and sell it to me ? LOL Never know till you ask.
Thanks for the reply.

I honestly have no idea. And you don't want mine. It's all cracked and messed up. Just google search like 4runner sport edition bumper and it should come up

Nicely built runner Jake. I like it.

Might have to check into them rear coils down the road, better than all them spacers I have to get there.

Thank Leonard. You should check them out. They ride really well.

What kinda caught my eye was, it looks like you load your ride down in your first page with weight.

I load mind down periodicly in the back for adventures and then at time pull a 7k trailer. I had put monroes coilover shocks on that help with the weight and only drops the back maybe .5" when loaded, but, still has that semi stock feel.
They also pushed my height up a .5".

Your opinion on your coils/extend travels, in the rear, they handle the extra weight like I have setup?

It is actually not any extra weight in the stock pictures. Just the way the air suspension sat and really sagged coils up front, but the Radflo shocks and AP 3.5s do hold weight really well. May eventually swap out for the Metaltech heavy duty rears at some point when I go to a rear bumper and tire carrier but I'm not sure on that yet

Thanks for the direction, might be doing a rear bumper in the future as finances agree.

3/+" is not a normal spring as of yet, and finding them to accommodate comfort and support w/weight, as I use mine.
