I have been reading information on this forum about 4Runners since we purchased our first one - a White 2007 4Runner in the spring of '14. We loved it so much that we purchased another on in the fall of '14. So far we have enjoyed both vehicles.
I did have a small noise coming from the rear end which would only occur when I shifted from reverse to drive. Took it to the dealership and they told me it was the rear differential going. Replaced that and it did not help. Noise is still there. They took apart and cleaned and replaced some other parts but could not locate what was causing the noise. It is not loud and does not bother me, I was merely curious as to what it was. Truck drives amazing though. I was having an issue with the battery and was reading threads on here about what battery to go with and I also read the thread about the rear wiper being an indication that the battery is about to die. Weird, because that is what happened with mine. Hoping the new battery solves that problem. I am having intermittent issues with the spoiler brake light working. Nothing that worries or bothers me, but it is annoying.
