HID Conversion on 4th Gen

I've never done an HID conversion, but am interested. How do you know which bulb to pick? 9003, 9004, 9006... etc...? And if you wanted to do both high and low beam, do you need 2 kits? This is for a 00' Limited [/QUOT

After driving my VW which has HID's I have been wanting to upgrade the 4Runner... Since I have its made a world of difference... I now have HID low beams and Silver Star Ultra fogs...

might be a dumb ? but do you still have high beams and are they HID as well? Refering to 4th gen headlights

On 4th gen, you will still have high beams, as the high beam bulb is a separate bulb. More installed pics here, click on "more pictures"

I did this mod and it was the right choice. I have blacked out lens covers and the HID bulbs punch through that and light up the woods great. I also adjusted my light tilt down to mitigate glare. Use the xeno depot extreme hid kit.
