HID conversion problem

I had the same problem on mine.
For me, When I would turn the car on the headlight switch would be on 'off' and once the car was on for about a min I could turn on the lights w.o any problems or flickering.

But, the solution I read on was to simply disable the DRL and it works fine now..cept I dont have DRL anymore but...who cares lol :D

if you live in usa, you don't need DRL (i could be wrong tho, check your state laws)...so yes, your cheapest solution would be to disconnect the DRL.

To do so, open your hood and look at the battery. Mounted between the battery and the fender, is this little grey box with a black cage around it. There is one plug that plugs in behind it, unplug it and viola, no DRL!

It's not necessarily a CANBUS ballast. We sell this component:

CANBUS Fix

Essentially, it's a capacitor that modulates the power going to the relay and prevents it from chattering.
