HID Flash Normal?

Whenever I turn on my HIDs they start with a flash of bright white light then it progressively goes from dark blue to light blue then back to bright white in the first 10 seconds. Then bright white is constant. Is this "flash then progression" normal at startup? I think it's just the bulb igniting but I'm not really sure.

I emailed XenonDepot CS but seeing as it's 3AM Sunday morning I'd try here too!

Yep, totally normal. They take a while to heat up. This is why HID's aren't advised to be used in your high beams. If you flash someone, it doesn't give it that 5-10 seconds to heat up. I have the same kit as you, so no worries, everything is normal.
