i just purchased a 35 watt, 6000k hid headlights. The only problems i have is when I turn them on, they both turn on and then it looks like the passenger side bulb blows out. I then have to turn them on and then off a few times and then they work fine. And also only the passenger side hi's work. i bought them from DDM tuning and have a 97 4runner.

Check voltage at the connector before and after the ballast, then the wire that goes to the bulb. Make sure you are getting 12 volts. Clean up all your connections with a wire brush and like Skweak said, check the grounds. Try swapping ballasts, if the passenger side still does not light then your not getting enough power to the passenger side and need a relay harness.
