Out of curiosity, why not Xenon Depot? I couldn't be happier with their kit.

I have nothing against Xenon Depot. I just want to see what's out there that's all. Their shipping price is a little too high, is it because they're in canada? We uses H11 right? I want to make sure I don't order the wrong kit. Another question is 4300k vs 6000k. Is it a noticable difference in performance between the two? My truck have Fog, so even if 6000k not as bright as the 4300k, when turn on the fog you think that will make up the differences?

Off topic question - I have DRL on my truck is there an on/off switch for it?

I have the 6000K H11 kit and I think it's perfect. When they ignite they're blue but once they warm up, they're a great color. The fogs are worthless, only there for decoration. You definitely don't need them with a HID kit. I think there is a relay that you can swap out to eliminate the DRL, but I'm not positive. Do a search for DRL. I know it's been discussed a million times. Good luck with whatever kit you choose.

You got your hid kit from Xenon Depot?

The lower color temperature 4300K HIDs will tend to penetrate smoke/dust/fog a bit better with less glare than the 6000K HIDS. Blue light is subject to more backscatter than yellower light. The difference in output between the two would probably be difficult to discern visually without A/B testing.

I just put in a xenondepot.com 4300K kit, and it seems to be a high quality kit at a good price. The 2006 T4R does use the H11 kit.

a buddy of my recently got 6000k on his g35 coupe and keep telling me to get 6000k because it look a lot better and the brightness is not that noticable. that's why i was having second though. but i think i might just go with 4300k because its better for performance and slight cheaper in terms of price =)

I have the XenonDepot 4300k kit in my 06 and think it's great. I did a lot of research on the Lexus GX470 forums before I decided, mainly because they had the projector headlamps before the 4Runners. A lot of people have done the 6000k kit and are happy with it, but I went with 4300k because that's the rating for headlights on a vehicle with factory-installed HIDs. I think they look great and provide plenty of light. I don't know if the extra "blue" appearance and minor degradation of light output would be worth the extra money for 6000k, but it's a personal preference.

If you like the look of most cars with HIDs on the road, you'll like the 4300k setup. Nobody can tell that my HIDs aren't factory unless I tell them.

Here's a link to my install page. The pictures really don't do the lights justice because I'm not a photo expert, but you get the idea.
