HID reverse light issue

I am running a hid kit fir my reverse light. The issue I am having is when I put the car into reverse. I get feedback noise in my tweeter.
It only happens when my amp is powered up. I have ran a relay, separate power, separate ground with no luck. The next thing I am going to try is either and inductor or a ground loop isolator. My friend suggested running ground from my batter to the kit.

Has anyone else ran into this issue. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.

Just curious why you need HID's for your reverse lights... You drive to work at night, backwards?

HID's in the reverse lights don't really make sense to me.

All your grounds are solid?

A friend of mine did this to his TL for a rear fog. Ended up burning the wire harness and melting the light housing.

That being said, I'm a little curious why you've got hid reverse lights as well. Try running the amp power wires on the other side of the interior.

Do you run an actual HID kit with ballasts and all or just a CREE LED bulb?

I have LED reverse lights, but cant imagine swapping HIDs

When you run dark tint. It helps the reverse camera. Led bulbs just don't do it.

Seems like they would take too long to warm up to be really useful.

Do you have any pictures?

I'm slightly interested in doing it to mine. It's really hard to back up at night when it's raining.

Why not run a set of driving lights back there instead? You're gonna eat through bulbs (nd id be willing to bet ballasts) like crazy. Where are your ballasts mounted? I'd be afraid they'd get too hot nd melt or burn something.

Well you got to think, how long are you really in reverse for? I dont think they would get burned up unless you left it in reverse for a while. Seems like a cool mod to me. just my .02

I don't think that's the problem. I think it's quickly turning them on and off.

This. HIDs require a significant amount of voltage to fire the igniters to light up the internal salts then the voltage drops significantly. In the reverse lights, you're basically only using the lights during the most harmful part of the cycle.

I'm not saying this'll happen on the third day after install. I'm suggesting the wear on the system will be much greater and the lifespan will likely be shorter. I'm also not saying its a stupid mod, I'm just saying there are cheaper ways to accomplish the same outcome.

Where's your reverse cam located such that tint is blocking its view? Am I missing something?

My friend has been running his setup for over a year with no problem.

The ballast and harness are mounted in the taillight. There is enough room to fit everything. First you Have to find the right bulb that will fit snug. Than silicone the bulb in. Run a relay and power, tap off the reverse wires.

The reason I am running hid instead of led. Led's are not bright enough during rain and low light. Plus with 5% tint you can't see unless you roll down your window.
