HID systems

If you're looking at a site/company that has HIDs for motorcycle offerings, double then. You will need two burners, ballasts and igniters, one per side.

HIDs do not have dual filaments like their Halogen counterparts. The 4th gen does not use a dual filament setup either. HIDs accomplish highbeam and lowbeam on with one HID burner per side by having a movable sheild in OEM setups, i.e. Bi-Xenon.

If possible post a link of vendor you're looking at and I can tell you if the kit has everything for you to complete the setup.

I was looking at the xenon depot everyones talking about. Is that a good company with excellent products? What do you think?

I had positive ordering experiences from XenonDepot, got them within a week of ordering (given they're in Canada too). I've ordered kits for myself as well as for others. I've only ordered the 4300k XenonDepot HID kit that uses Phillips components, which is no longer offered as reported by other members, haven't tried the other color temperatures or component brands. Kit quality is excellent. Wiring harness is great. Installation is a breeze. You can't go wrong with XD.

Hello,

From what I can find on the 03 4runner, the vehicle uses a 9006 bulb for the low beams meaning that you would need to order a 9006 HID conversion kit.

Please email me and Iwould be more than happy to help you out.

Regards,

Steve

PS Uneek, thanks for the positive word of mouth =) Glad to hear you're satisfied with your purchase.
