What the F*CK is that saposed to meen? How the hell would you know anything about lights, legal issues, or the type of products I sell? More factory and aftermarkets HID's have come accros my work bench in the last 6 years then your cheap a*s will see on the road in your life. You should think to yourself why the kits on those sights are so cheap, and compare it to a high end HID conversion manufacturer like Koito or PIAA, oh yah thats right, they dont officialy sell in the states because DOT will prosicute them and pull all their approval certifacates on their bulbs. SPW is an example of a company who went thrue the BS.

Obviously you guys have been miss informed about HID's by fake numbers on the internet.

Lexus factory Hid bulbs run around 4300k. The BMW, Acura, Lincon run at the high 5000k. If any one of you have actualy spent some money on buying HID bulbs, PIAA offers bulb replacement for D2R and D2S (for those who know what that is). I have installed a few PIAA 6600k bulbs on some cars, andyes they are blue, but it still lights up the road like a stock bulb.

The bulbs you guys are thinking of that are the blue that dose not produce light or the purple that wont even show you whats in front of you are in the 8000k - 10,000k+ area.

Please do not disrespect any one buy talking sh*t on the bords its the worst karma, do it to their face.

I would buy the hids from those sight, but to sell to cheap customers that i wont see again, not for my car or customers that i want to come back.

WHOA. If you were thinking that I was disrespecting your HIDs, i'm not. I just stated that I, personally, wouldn't put anything above 4800K... or 5000K for that matter. I've seen 6000+ ones and they are "blue...ish" and look nowhere close to any stock HIDs.

Anything will light up the road, but I want my light to be WHITE...not blue... not purple.. not pink. and yes... you need to calm down.

Never mind...I got it...

High Intensity Discharge (HID) is the latest technology in automotive lighting. It replaces the filament of the light bulb with xenon gas by utilizing the gas discharge principle, an arc of light is created between two electrodes in a small capsule filled with a mixture of xenon gas and halide salts. When high voltage is applied, the gas is ignited to produce an arc of light.

yes sir. R32 as you can tell. customer of mine. needed alot of work, but ended up a nice car. too bad the owners an idiot.
 
You can find McCollogh (sp?) kits on ebay for $300 shipped to your door. Very nice quality, i did a HID conversion on my 02 Acura. Like the thread starter said, once you go back to HID's, you wont go back to halogen lights, its like night and day, no pun intended. Also, you will get the higher light output, but dont expect to get the sharp light beam cut off like cars that come with HID frmo the factory. Those vehicles use projectors to get that concentrated light beam with a sharp upper cut off.

words!!!!! I just got a 6000k mcCulloch set off ebay too for $270 ship!. and they look AWESOME! very BRIGHT & WHITE w/ a slight hit of blue to them! anyway you can not compare regular tinted blue bulb to real HID their is no comparison!

dame those HID are very BLUE! what the K on them? who make them? look more like 8000k to 10000k by the color. are your HID bulbs painted??
 
Those look cool and all but what I want to know is who's R-32 is that? You must know some of the same people I know.

penuts are easy, brand is MTK. Its one of the those japanies ones, I have them in stock if you want some.

as for the 3157, I havnt found any that match the penuts and fogs.
 
i got 194 PIAA Yellow bulbs yesterday ... it's great ... i just found NOKYA 3157 Yellow bulb ... i just need to buy it
 
The HID light looks so blue in this picture because the digital camaera is using white balance calibrated to incandescent color temperature. Thats why the high beam looks perfectly white. To the eye, that HID won't look so blue and the high beam will look much yellower.

Actually philips sell their brands in the states. pretty much its only chinese and korean kits are being rebranded. and no you're wrong about oem kits on bmw, acura are all 4300k. What makes them bluish purple is the technology in the projector headlights that they have. if you look at it directly w/o an angle, you still see a white light. Please confirm your info before making a fact statement. anything k temp about 6000k is worthless, you might as well stick to your stock bulbs and you'll be better off. or buy those knock off blue tinted bulbs if you going over 6000k-6500k
