HIDs, anywhere else other than XenonDepot ?

I really really want HIDs for my 07 SE but shelling out $400+ to XD is a bit hard to part with esp when I have car payments each month.

Does anyone have any experience with buying from a vendor other than XD?

Looking for the 4300K or 5000K H11 HIDs

how long have you had your kit for ? I know most kits probably work right out the box, I'm looking for the one that works atleast 2 years down the road. They all claim a 5 year lifespan at average driving times but who knows !

i've only had it for about 2 months on my 4runner then i had it for about a month on my crv so total 3 months.. this kit is a true plug and play, comes with a relay harness built into it too... i don't do much driving at night but i've had long trips in the past where i've used them.

2004 Rx330, H11 put in sometime in the summer 2005.
 
I forget to answer your last question. No because I'm concerned about stray light using them on a 9006 application.
 
Read somewhere that its important for the kit to have name brand bulbs, ballast and wiring harness, Philips or Denso are names I've read about...

i bought mine from this guy, he sells the same ones that the guy is selling on here in the classifieds and the ones there are $205 and the ones i got on ebay are $135 shipped to you. Kits include everything needed and reputable parts as well with a no questions asked warrenty with no re-stocking fees.
 
hi broncosi, would you be able to take a night shot of your headlights and one of where you placed the balasts?
 
oh i didnt quite get them in yet, i actually just bought them yesterday, also i have a 3rd gen if thats what your looking for, i will repost up as soon as i get them on the 4runner.

nice! i ordered the 8000K kit so i guess it will be a little more blue-er than that which is exactly what i was looking for!

The lights look great...but unless I am completely stupid, I don't see the H11 kit on the Purevision site...so...any help???

Oh yeah im sorry forgot to tell you, i bought the 9006 from them before for my accord and since they didn't have the H11 bulbs yet what i did was i bought a pair of H11 bulbs off ebay and used my purevision ballast and relay harness.. my mistake:D
 
So when did you buy the set from purevision? Im trying to get an idea of how long they will last.
 
I bought them around August or September so it's only about 4 months and still going (knocks on wood) hopefully it doesn't die on me pretty soon
 
u can get HID's from anywhere, u just need to know the bulb size when u order them. heres a group buy on scionlife.com SCIONLIFE

for $175...i got my 6000k hid kit prolumen for $275 with lifetime warranty
 
i just installed my HIDs today, they are 8000K and i got them for $150 shipped, with a 2 year warranty.
