high idle after MAF and throtle body cleaning

Hi everyone!

Last week I did MAF and TB cleaning.
For MAF I've used electronic conector cleaner spray.
For TB I have used TB cleaner spray from napa.

Before cleaning at the morning first start up I've got 1500 rpm than after 10 sec goes to 1100 and than after couple minutes drops to 700-800 .

Right now after that service my car idles with 1500 rpms when cold for about 7-10 minutes than drops down. I took off EFI fuse for 5 minutes with no luck.
Today I disconnected the battery so tomorrow I'll check how it works. I did about 300 miles after that cleaning so IMO computer should get all new values. With warm engine rpms drops down quick.

it's annoying and not really healthy for transmission to put D with high idle And also fuel consumption is higher because I need to warm up the car much longer.

I ensure that all vacuum lines are connected and I don't think I have any leak. Car runs fine
I didn't notice any difference except high idle :)

Also under the MAF was kinda rubber/foam seal I put that same seal back and tight maf really God so I don't think that's the problem

Any thoughts?

Right now after this

Those are two very important components that control how your car performs. So when your car builds up carbon on those parts the ECU adapts to compensate for the less air. Now that you cleaned them it's a drastic change and your computer can't adapt that fast. Disconnecting the battery will help but after a few days it should get back to normal. The ECU will recognize its getting too much air (running lean) and it will slowing start to close the throttle body more and more at idle until it reaches the correct air/fuel ratio.

Thanks for your input. Hopefully it will reset the ecu settings because I'm having thus issues since last week and 300 miles

That has been a while, I would have expected it to fix it on its own by now. I also hate shifting it into gear while the RPM's are high.

When I worked at the dealership we had a trick called battery Vodo. We would disconnect both terminals on the battery and connect the cables together. If they can't reach each other use a jumper wire. Just so you know I am not referring to the batter itself but the cables that connect to the battery terminals. Doing this will drain the capacitors that are build inside of the ECU that store power. I have had this fix weird problems before, hope this helps.
