Help! High Pitch Squeal and Loss of Power_'92_V6
My son's '92 with a V6 that developed a high pitch squeal and loss of power driving home one day. It is not a belt or waterpump squeal. He thought it may be the reed valve and replaced that with a used, but that wasn't the problem. He then replaced the EGR valve (used) but that wasn't it either. The squeal will sometimes go away while driving but it still has a major loss of power. It doesn't squeal at idle, just when you rev it up. He's unemployed so is trying to throw parts at it to get it fixed. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
