Sounds like its probably a bad ground. Is it something that just started happening all the sudden? Is it an aftermarket head unit?

Is your sound system OEM? Or have you added any aftermarket equipment. What you are describing sounds like a "ground loop". You can Google that for a resolution.

Unplug your phone/gps charger... does it still do it? That causes my speakers to make a bit of noise when plugged in.

are you charging a device while you are listening to your phone over the system via the aux cable? mine does this, always has, but only when charging the device that i'm listening to music through.

Aftermarket headunit, all stock as far as AMP / Speakers.... Its the JBL system....

Just started happening about a week ago, and the headunit has been installed for a little over a year.

Funny thing is that it sounds like its only the front passenger speaker.

I had it professionally installed, so i will make a call to the shop and see whats up.

Noise can come from anywhere. They probably just have to ground your headunit better if everything else is stock.
Also I would check all your other aftermarket equipment for proper grounding.

Stock amp with aftermarket hu like to cause trouble also, try connecting you headunit directly to your speakers.
