HI! I'm Dave and I have newly-acquired '97 SR5. I get a giggle out of the amount of numbers on the back! It says 4Runner, SR5, V6 (wonder how many more numbers they could put on there?)
Love it, except for the brakes :bash:, which will, sooner or later result in a bad cruncher - it stops well in daily casual driving, but standing on the brake pedal with both feet and all my 220 lb on the pedal still cannot give a good "panic stop".
I have looked at the threads on installing Tundra brakes, but if that doesn't help, it will be for sale again soon as I cannot trust it to keep me out of crashes
By the way, it will be a pavement princess during my ownership. I want 4X4 for going up the mountain to ski hills, but otherwise it will used for "family car" duties (no off-roading for me!)
