Highest Mileage 4th Gen?

I bought my 06 SR5 about two years ago with 206K on it. Drive about 70 miles back and forth to work every day and still going strong. Just replaced all the rotors and pads and about to install a 3/2 Daystar kit and some 265/70/17 Kenda MT tires. I think I may try to check all my grease fittings and see about a tranny fluid change. No major issues. :rockon:

I guess it's time for an update.
For many months I have been driving a Land Cruiser so there really wasn't much to report on the 4-Runner. But after recently having the a/c repaired, the 4-Runner is again my daily driver. Currently running 150-200 miles a day. I'll pass 603k/miles by the end of the week.

03 V8 hauler with 247k

We’ve had my wife’s 2003 v8 sport from the beginning, and we’re at 247k.

The last 40k miles were spent pulling a 1966 Airstream across NA, and another 5k miles doing some major off-roading in Utah.

That being said, we had a major repair at 190k miles when our transfer case went out. The first three idiots tried to replace our transmission before someone finally figured it out. It was a gamble to pay the $3,300 to replace it with a salvaged, but it’s paid off.

We hope to take her well over 300k and are debating another camper trip up to Alaska!

04 sport v8 4wd

274 OR 275,000. At this point it's all the same. Bought it with 268xxx for $2750 and now have close to $6k in it. 5100's all around, fj coils all around, 275/70/17 bfg's, new cv axles, aisin tbelt kit, new mevotech rear control arms. Now have a bad knock sensor possibly and a brake noise that driving me nuts!

My 03 has 245,000 on it and is the nicest car I've ever had.
I've replaced a few bulbs in the multi-information and climate control area.
I live on a pretty rough dirt road and the only thing I've noticed is the stabilizer bar bushings/links are a bit noisy and the rotors need to be turned,...again.

New to me 05 Limited 4wd 247,000 miles

Just purchased near perfect 05 4runner Limited 4wd. No leaks, smells or other concerning issues. Only wear is slightly to the drivers seat. Just took it in the have it looked over and came out with a clean bill of heath. Hoping for at least another 100,000 miles.

I have an 03, 260,000 miles. Best vehicle I have ever owned. Done a few things to it, nothing major. New rotors, a couple of calipers, two front axles.

Was just bragging on it the other day and then “bam”
Speedometer, odometer quit working and abs, vsc , e brake warning lights came on. Drives and runs fine. Still in investigative mode. Oh, tail pipe broke off between muffler and whatever that thing is at the very end.... which turns out may have heat damaged some abs sensor wires.

My buddy (original owner)is selling me his 2003 w/423,000+ miles. It runs and drives perfect and only leaks a bit of oil. Nothing but a few superficial parts have been changed.

I recently bought an 03 v8 with 210k miles. It was a deal I couldn’t pass up. It’s a one owner truck that has a bunch of things new (or semi-new) like radiator, sparkplugs, coilpacks, brakes and so on. It just needs a little bit of love here and there. Of course it has a rusty tail gate but other than that no body rust! I’m in the middle of doing a timing belt change since it looks like it hasn’t been changed in 15 years lol.

I always had a soft spot for 4runner so when this one came up for sale i had to jump on it.

My 03 Sport has 204K and is doing great. Just got oil change, new tires and bilstein 5100's on it last weekend. Adding new brake pads this weekend, hoping the rotors are in good shape. Bought this baby brand new and it has been awesome. Hoping to hand it off to my 13.5 year old when he reaches driving age!
