05 v6 SR5 4WD. 165K. Nothing major, but the carrier/pinion bearings are whining, so that'll get fixed in the not too distant future.

Also, head gasket prayers

Love seeing these numbers!

I bought my 2007 Sport in 2016 with only 65k and pretty much in perfect shape. Bought a little RV trailer to use as hunting/fishing/camping cabin, and wanted a good reliable vehicle.

Now have about 97k on it, and because I work from home, only about 8k miles per year. Later this year I'm going to begin using my wife's 2006 Acura TSX (only 96k miles) as my around town vehicle and the 4Runner for my outdoor trips, hauling stuff and bad weather vehicle only.

My wife says she deserves a new car since she's had the Acura since new in 2006. She had her last one, a Mazda MPV, for 17 years.

I'm 63 years old now, figure they'll be burying me before these two cars wear out.

181k - 2006 V6 SR5 AWD. Bought it three years ago at 148k for $7k. Had to replace all four calipers, rotors, and brakes, as well as, the front wheel bearings.
AC no longer holds a charge. Have to find leak and fix it.

'03 V8 sport with 296xxx miles. Regular maintenance pee the manual. I'm the second owner. Bought it with 248xxx miles. And dud the FJ suspension swap and bilstien 5100 shocks/adjustable struts. Had to replace the LCAs. Looking at doing a steering rack in the future. Got a slow leak on the passenger side.

2004 V8. Bought in 2014 at 203k miles now doing 241k. still runs great. always use Mobil1 high mileage oil and never fails me.

Airbag light is on. Differential light came on after technician tampered with the black whatchamacallit differential box near the gearbox to repair a small leak. Now differential, Vsc & VSC off lights is on steady and diffenrential made a steady low beeping noise underneath the car. Heard this is a non serviceable part and difficult to get the setting right once the box is tampered with.. anyone had this issue before?

2005 with 210k, but it seems that those are rookie numbers. Got it with 185k, hoping to hang onto her for a while.

Not a 4Runner but I came across a 2001 Tundra last week with the 4.7L that had 505,000 miles on the original engine. It was in rough condition and had obviously had a hard life but the owner said it ran great and he used it daily for his contractor business. Due to the circumstances I didn't get to ask him too many questions but it looked like the engine would outlast the body because it had several body panels that were rusted through.
